Vouen is factory worker. Her income is $3.50 per day. She lives with her mother and three siblings. They work in a factory with an income of $3 per day for each of them. Every month she spends $75 on food, $10 on electricity, $30 on housing rental, $40 on transportation and $50 on other expenses. She would like to request a loan of $1200 to buy a motorbike for traveling to work in the factory. The family expenses are not solely her responsibility alone, the siblings also help because they have an old mother living with them. When she is able to save enough money, Vouen plans to buy chickens and pigs for her mother to raise at home.
