Jumpu, is waitress in a restaurant. Her husband rents a small shop, near his house, to sell phones. Their income is $15 per day.
Every month, Jumpu spends $30 on food, $5 electricity, $10 on house rent fees and $5 on transportation. She would like to request a loan of $1000 to buy new and second hand phones to resell. This loan will lead her husband to be able to have some money to continue his business and he can buy more phones and other items related to selling phones. In the future, this family plan to have their own shop to sell from so that they don’t have to pay to rent a house.
