Mary has practiced farming in Ndunyu Njeru town for the last seven years. She does small-scale farming and sells her produce at the local market. She is 43 years old and married to Mwangi. They have two school-going children.
She was introduced to KADET by one of her friends, and this will be her fourth loan. She paid all her previous loans well and in good time. She plans to use the loan amount to buy seeds and fertilizer.
In the future, Mary hopes to buy more land and practice large-scale farming.
