Augusto
Augusto was born in the Namaacha district in the Maputo province in southern Mozambique. He is married and has two children, ages 4 and 12. The older child attends school. Augusto attended school through the 8th grade but dropped out due to financial circumstances. He lives in his own home with his family and does not support anyone else.

He left Namaacha for Maputo to look for work. He has worked for 10 years as a driver for a private company and has a monthly salary of 8.000.00mt which he uses to cover household expenses and for savings in his bank account.

Augusto has never had a loan with other banks. He learned about Hluvuku through a friend who is also a client. This is his first loan with Hluvuku, in the amount of 15.000.00mt, which he will use to purchase construction materials (cement, iron, stones, sand, etc.) to continue construction on his home. He dreams of completing his home, furnishing it, and building another one to rent. He plans to request more loans from Hluvuku for this purpose.
