Benyamin is a 42 year-old man, married to Diana, a 37 year-old lady. Their marriage has been blessed with four adorable children, namely Yeti, a sixteen year-old girl who is in the second year of senior high school; Fernando, a 14 year-old boy in the second year of junior high school; Samaria, an 11 year-old girl in the fourth grade of elementary school; and Frits, a 7 year-old boy in the second grade of elementary school.

Benyamin has been running a room rental business for seven years in order to fulfill the basic needs of his family. His wife is working as a seamstress to assist him in generating money for their living. By setting up his unused rooms, he has attracted the students who come from countryside and want to continue study in the city, but don't have any relatives or place to stay. They can rent a small room with access to clean water and electricity and pay IDR 75,000 on a monthly basis.

Benyamin is dreaming of renovating his rental house but needs money to do so. He met TLM’s loan officer who promoted TLM’s lending program to the community in his village. Benyamin got interested in joining the program. He is requesting a loan of IDR 10,000,000. Benyamin is hoping that he gets the loan to purchase zinc, cement and other materials to renovate his rental house.
