The other group members are María Alicia, 56 and Iris Nubia, 51. María works as a domestic employee and in her free time would help a relative that sells firewood. Seeing that this is a profitable business she used some savings to buy a horse and a cart, hired a helper, and started her business. Iris sells tortillas, baked goods and flour bread. She learned this from her grandmother and started the business when she was 21 years old.
