Susan is a married woman with one child who is still too young for school. She lives at a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food, rent bills and clothing.
For the past two years, she has operated a cosmetic vending business, selling to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of competition from other cosmetic sellers in her area of operation. She dreams of establishing another branch in the future.
With the Kshs 40,000 loan, she wants to purchase bundles of cosmetics and pay for transportation. She decided to join Yehu to access loans in order to boost her business.
