The Communal Bank “Rosas de Franz Tamayo” (Roses of Franz Tamayo) is starting its third loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Los Andes Community Center. The group consists of nine members and is led by a Board of Directors headed by Sra. Cinda. The members of the Communal Bank engage in various business activities such as selling food, selling condiments, managing a beauty salon, working as a chauffeur, knitting sweaters, selling blankets, and managing a store.


Sra. Cinda says that she has worked with Pro Mujer for one year and joined the organization after being invited by the godmother of her child. She currently has a business selling condiments. Cinda started working five years ago and learned the business from her brother.


The loan she is currently taking out will increase her capital for buying condiments. She acquires her goods in Desaguadero and sells them on Wednesdays and Fridays by request. Through her work, Cinda is able to generate income to support her family. She is single and has one child.


When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Cinda said she enjoys the savings.

La A.C. “ROSAS DE FRANZ TAMAYO” iniciará su tercer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del centro focal Los Andes, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Cinda. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: venta de comida, venta de condimentos, salón de belleza, chofer, tejido de chompas, venta de mantas, y tienda de barrio

La señora Cinda, indica que hace un año que trabaja en Pro Mujer y que integro la institución por invitación de su comadre. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de condimentos, que viene trabajando desde hace cinco años aprendiendo el mismo de su hermano.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de condimentos) que adquirirá comprará del Desaguadero y lo comercializará los días miércoles y viernes a pedido. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, pues ella es soltera y tiene un hijo.
