This communal bank emerged from contact with one of the members of the Fundación. The group is in its tenth cycle, and it has been working with the Fundación since 2008. The group currently has 17 member, and they work in a responsible and coordinated way.

Silvina is married and has three small children. She has been selling food in an itinerant manner for several years. She sells in her neighborhood and also in the center of the city. It is through this work that she has managed to support her children and to get them ahead. She wants to give them the education that she was not able to have.

She is requesting the loan to buy ingredients to make food. She will buy things like meat, spices, eggs, ham, cheese, and other ingredients. She knows that the loan will be a big help. It will help her to be well-stocked with ingredients.
