Sarouet, 38, is a grocery seller. Her husband is a car driver and sometime he does motorbike taxi driving to get more income. Their income is $10 per day. They have five children, three are studying and one works in a cosmetic shop earning $5 per day. Every month, Sarouet has to spend $75 on food, $15 on school fees, and $10 on transportation.
Sarouet would like to request a loan of $1000 to buy a new motorbike for her husband's motorbike taxi service because the current motorbike is old and needs a lot of repairs. In the future she wants to extend her shop to sell more grocery goods so that she can earn more income to support the rest of her children who are studying so they can finish university.
