Maria Ernestina's story

María studied through sixth grade in school. She is in a relationship and her partner works as a driver. Her children are studying and her mother also lives with them, and together they form her nuclear family.

María makes a living in sales and she is the owner of a basic goods shop where she sells groceries, candy, and other daily consumer items. She learned this work empirically and has more than eight years of experiences in her business, which is located in her own home. In tending to her business, she receives support from her mother. In the afternoons she also works making and selling pupusas in order to generate additional income. Previously she worked as a domestic employee.

She will use the loan to buy shelves that will allow her to better organize the products in her shop and offer better service to her customers.

María dreams of growing her shop and strengthening her business, with the objective of generating more income and improving the quality of life of her family.
