Yessica Lisseth
A loan of $1,000 helps to buy raw material like corn, lime, wood and other supplies needed to make tortillas.

Yessica Lisseth's story
Yessica is 43 years old. She is currently single and has two children who are now independent. This allows her to focus on enhancing her business.
Yessica has been earning a living making and selling tortillas for about three years. She learned the trade thanks to her mother. She carries out the business at her house where she serves customers from 10 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon. She previously worked making and selling pupusas but because of the low profitability and long hours the business requires she decided to change product. She began to sell tortillas as a more feasible option.
The loan will be invested in the purchase of raw material like corn, lime, wood and other supplies needed to make tortillas. This will allow her to keep up and improve her production.
Yessica dreams of having her own house and continuing to work with effort to improve her quality of living and provide for her economic security.
