Jack's story
Jack is a 36 year old family man from Mpangango Cell in Rukungiri District. He and his wife are raising four children, three of whom are currently in school. As the sole provider, Jack works tirelessly at coffee farming, which is the main source of income for his household.
Despite his dedication, Jack’s coffee plantation is struggling due to declining soil fertility. To restore the health of his farm and improve yields, he is seeking support of UGX 4,000,000. This funding will enable him to purchase organic manure and mulching materials essential inputs that will nourish his coffee trees, retain soil moisture, and protect the farm from harsh weather conditions.
With this support, Jack hopes to significantly increase his harvest, ensuring stable income for school fees, household needs, and the long-term sustainability of his family farm.
