Evariste's story

Evariste is a determined father of two who has been running a cash-crop farming business for the past eight years, mainly cultivating maize and Irish potatoes for the market. In addition to farming, he also sells fertilizers to local farmers, which helps diversify his income and support his family’s needs.

He started his journey with very small resources, initially planting a few onion seeds and leasing land for cultivation. Through hard work and commitment, he has managed to build a stable farming activity that supplies produce to local markets.

However, the limited size of the land he leases restricts his production capacity. Evariste is requesting a loan to purchase larger land so he can expand the cultivation of Irish potatoes and increase his production to meet growing market demand.
