Lamees is a 28-year-old married woman, living in Jabalia Refugee Camp in Gaza Strip. Lamees took out a $1,000 loan from FATEN to improve her poor home furniture. Her husband, who is a Palestinian National Authority employee, has a decent salary but it doesn't help him improve the home furniture by paying in cash. By having a loan from FATEN to be repaid on a monthly basis, Lamees and the family can afford to improve their home furniture. Obtaining this loan is a priority for Lamees, so she can live with her family in better conditions.
Lamees is a conservative woman; therefore, her husband is photographed instead of her.
