Estrella Guadalupe's story
Estrella is 30 years old. She is single currently and completing her University studies. She lives together with her elder sisters who make a living selling fruits. They make up a household where work and mutual support are fundamental.
Estrella makes a living preparing tortillas for sale. She has been in this business for several years. She travels for about 12 minutes from her home to her workplace. Her day starts at 6:00 in the morning and runs until midday, she returns again in the afternoon depending on her customers needs. This activity is her primary source of income. She previously also worked in agriculture.
She will use this loan to buy maize and the ingredients required to make tortillas, her goal is to maintain and strengthen her business, assuring continuity of her sales.
Estrella dreams of continuing to count on plenty of customers, that will allow her to fulfil her commitments and continue growing with financial support, improving her financial stability and her quality of life.
