Catherine is 53 years old, married with four children aged 8 to 24 years living in her own house in Hoima, Uganda. For 10 years, she has been running a school which started with a nursery school but she now owns a primary school and from this she has been able to pay fees for her children. She faces the challenge of inadequate finance due to late payment of school dues by parents. For now, her school is in semi-permanent structures: she has the desire to build permanent structures in the future and to upgrade her school to secondary level. Catherine needs a loan to pay her children's school fees.
