Carmencita's story
Carmencita is partnered and her partner works in agriculture. She has three daughters who are currently students, so she works with dedication to support her family's wellbeing and education.
Carmencita works raising and selling creole hens and also does agricultural work. The land she cultivates is approximately five kilometers from her house and she has the support of her partner and daughters in this labor.
In addition, as a way to generate additional income, she makes and sells typical snacks such as tamales, fried yuca, enchiladas, and other products which are very appreciated in her community.
She needs the loan to purchase a stove, pans, and other utensils which will allow her to better prepare and sell her typical snacks, with the objective of strengthening her small business.
Carmencita dreams of offering her family a better quality of life. Likewise, she wants her daughters to continue their education and in the future become good people who contribute positively to society. With effort and dedication, she hopes to continue growing in her productive activities.
