Chelvin Del Carmen's story
Chelvin is 43 years old and has a sixth grade education. She has a life partner who makes his living as a farmer. She has four children, two of whom are in school and depend on her.
Chelvin makes her living as a housekeeper in her community. She has more than six years of experience and she learned this work from her parents. Her work hours are 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. She also raises and sells broiler chickens. Previously she worked raising and selling cattle.
She will use this loan to buy more chicks and feed concentrate to feed them and then sell them.
Chelvin hopes to have a larger farm and to improve her family's living conditions.
