Khady represents the group "Sope Naby", which is a term in Wolof that means in French "to love the prophet". She is a 58 years old trader who is sitting at the front, with her right hand raised and holding a box of incense with her left hand. She is married with a businessman and responsible for a child who attend school.

Khady is a creditworthy client at VFS, since she has been a trader for more than 22 years. With this loan, she expects to buy fabrics (veil, Bazin [cotton damask fabric], embroidery), shoes, home goods, etc. This loan will allow to strengthen her business and increase her income.

To stock up on merchandise, she goes to Dakar or in Mauritania. She resells her products at the local market or in the surrounding villages.

The income she makes allows her to provide for her family needs in the realm of health, food, education, and hygiene.
