Sepiphose is 54 years old and sells clothing. Her husband is a chief of construction workers and their income is $7 per day. They have four children. One child is studying and the other three sell food in front of her house in the village. Every month, she has to spend $40 on food, $18 on school fees, and $14 on other expenses. She would like to request a loan of $1,000 to buy cement and steel for her husband for doing construction because he is a chief of construction workers and he has to buy building materials for his customers before they pay him. Her husband wants to expand his business because he can make a good income from it.
