Jean Bosco
A loan of $5,500 helps to expand his cultivated land and purchase improved seeds and fertilizers.

Jean Bosco's story
Jean Bosco is a father of two and a small-scale farmer operating in Musanze District. He grows Irish potatoes and maize, crops well suited to the region’s climate and soil, which provide both household food security and income through local market sales.
He previously acquired a loan that was used to purchase quality seeds, fertilizers, and cover land preparation and labor costs. This financing had a positive impact on his productivity, leading to higher yields, improved farming practices, and better farm management. As a result, he increased production volumes and stabilized his income.
Jean Bosco is now requesting a new loan to expand his cultivated land and purchase improved seeds and fertilizers. This investment will enable him to further increase production, meet market demand, and strengthen the sustainability of his farming business and household livelihood.
