Joel is 39 years old, is married to Mary, who is a farmer. They are blessed with two children, ages 13 and 10 years. Joel has been a shoe maker for the past 20 years, with the monthly income of KES 11,000 which he uses to support his family members.
He was introduced to KADET by an existing KADET customer and as applied for his 1st loan. Joel will use the loan to add stock of shoe making materials to his business. With the anticipated profit from the business, he will open a retail shop.
He hopes to open a wholesale shoe shop in future, which will help educate his children and improve his family's standard of living.
