Carmen, 46 years old, is a cake seller. She is a single mother with two children, both of them married. Her income is $8 per day, and her children can make $10 per day. There are 9 people in her family including her four grandchildren. Every month, she has to spend $65 on food, and $15 on transportation. Carmen would like to request a loan of $1000 to buy farmland to farm. She also wants to make more cakes to sell wholesale as well as retail.
