Wayne's story

I founded Genesis Truck Driving School to be able to give back to the community through education. I started this school to be able to supply training in an high poverty area. Truck Driving is a career that can last a lifetime. I have been a truck driver for 20 years and have never been laid off. I have a family of entrepreneurs and see how being a business owner can supply jobs to your community and ways to give back. My goal is to be able to give a person an opportunity to go from a minimum wage job to make 100,000 a year.

I grew up in Lake Village, AR, and saw poverty my whole life, and I like my city and want to make a difference. I am in Lake Village, AR, currently, so I plan to open the school in the same town where I was born and raised.

My dreams for the future are to help men and women become financially stable and to help many generations of truck drivers. I started this school because it allows a person in 4 weeks to go from poverty to a livable wage.
