Lan's story

Ms. Lan is 57 years old and lives with her family in a small house in a rural area of Thanh Hoa province. She is a mother of nine children. Six of her children are already adults, while her three youngest are still in school. Her husband works as a casual laborer, but his income is unstable and only enough to cover basic needs. To help support the family, Ms. Lan works very hard. She takes temporary jobs selling goods while also raising pigs at home to earn extra income. With many children to care for, the family often faces financial difficulties.

Ms. Lan is currently repairing her pig pen and plans to purchase several dozen piglets to raise. After about five months, she hopes to sell them to local traders for a profit. She is requesting her eleventh loan from Thanh Hoa MFI, demonstrating her long history of commitment and responsible borrowing.

With this loan, Ms. Lan hopes her pigs will grow healthy and strong, allowing her to earn a stable income and improve living conditions for her family while continuing to support her children’s education.
