Ruth Liliana

Ruth is 44 years old, and is a simple, smiling and hardworking Afro-Ecuadorian. She lives in her own house with her three children. She does not have a partner. She is educating her children alone as head of household thanks to her activity selling groceries in a small store she established some years ago. She offers her customers good service and accessible prices for the consumers. 

Ruth wants to improve the appearance of her retail space so she asks for this loan with which she will purchase paint, shelving, a display case, and a sign, in addition to staple grocery merchandise to stock her store. In the future, she hopes to see her store as a micro-market which can create job opportunities.
