Maria Vicenta

Maria Vicenta's story

Maria is single and lives in her own home with her two children, ages 14 and 4. She has no relatives living abroad. Maria's business is selling tortillas, which she started eight years ago, learning the trade through experience. She works from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and currently has no difficulties running her business. Her current challenge is that the stove she uses for tortilla production is borrowed.

She is requesting a loan to obtain the financial resources to strengthen her business at a lower cost. She will use it to purchase a stove with a griddle and 12 quintals of corn to prepare the tortillas and acquire her own equipment.

Maria hopes that after the investment, her customers will receive better service, leading to increased sales and profits.

Maria's dreams are to grow her business and achieve financial stability to improve her family's quality of life.
