Silvia is 22 years old and lives in Salcedo, in central Ecuador. She is married and lives with her husband and 3-year-old son. She is a hardworking woman who supports her family. Silvia works in milk production, having followed the example of her parents, who were also agricultural workers. She is seeking this loan in order to purchase a young bull. This is her first loan and it is a small amount with which she hopes to experience the helpfulness of credit. Her future dream is to buy her own land.
