Precious' story
Precious is a 36-year-old married female from the western part of Uganda. She is married and has five children. Precious has been doing coffee farming for the last 10 years and this has helped her fully understand this type of farming.
She has been facing a challenge of low coffee harvests due to increased pests and diseases on her farm. She decided to visit Ebo Sacco for a loan. She will use this loan to buy pesticides to curb down the problem of pests and diseases on her coffee farm. She will use the second half of the loan to buy manure to add to her farm and boost harvests and hence increased sales and profits.
Precious dreams of expanding her coffee farm by purchasing more land and adding more coffee trees in the next two years, hence increasing her sales margin. This is her second loan with Ebo Sacco, and she has a good repayment record.
