Assumptah's story

Assumptah is a 29-year-old female from the western part of Uganda. She is married and has two children. Assumptah has been operating a retail shop for the last six years. Having failed to acquire a white-collar job, she decided to start a retail shop, and this has helped her to gain great passion and experience in this field. She has been facing a challenge of inability to meet customer needs due to limited stock. She was encouraged to visit Ebo Sacco for a loan. She will use this loan to buy more sacks of posho, soap, bread, rice, sugar, cartoons of soda, books and pens to meet the different tastes, preferences and needs of her customers. This will help her meet the customer demands and increase her sales and profits in the long run.

Assumptah dreams of starting a mobile money business alongside her retail business to increase her sources of her income in the next three months. This is her third loan from Ebo Sacco, and she has a good repayment record.
