A loan of $575 helps to buy more electronic goods.

Yassin's story
Yassin is 28 years old and lives in the town of Kiyinda in the Kiyinda region of Uganda. He is married and has one child who is currently in school. For the past 4 years, Yassin has been working hard to manage his electronics shop. To help expand his business, Yassin has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more electronics goods, and will help Yassin to generate greater profits, improve the well-being of his family and promote the business. Yassin hopes that in the future he will be able to build on rentals. He is a member of a small enterprise program, which primarily serves small-business members like him who have small collateral for loans and have businesses that have grown and qualify for small loans.
