Mumtaz's story
Mumtaz is a hardworking 53-year-old woman who has always wanted to support her family by earning from home. With limited income, managing daily household expenses and her children’s needs has been challenging. For the past 12 years, she has been running a small ladies’ clothing business.
With the support of a microfinance loan from CEIP, Mumtaz will be able to purchase a wider variety of ladies’ clothes. This will attract more women from her area and help her earn a steady income. Gradually, she hopes to contribute more to household expenses and feel confident in her role within the family. In the future, Mumtaz plans to expand her small setup into a larger clothing business.
She believes that CEIP’s support has not only improved her present situation but also opened the door to a secure and brighter future for her children.
