Vitale's story
Vitale is 32 years old and married. He has four children between the ages of one and eleven years old. He works occasionally in construction.
Last year, heavy rains partially damaged the foundation of Vitale's home. Due to the moisture from the rains, mold has started to appear inside the home, which is a serious health risk for his children. That is why Vitale wants to pour a higher layer of concrete to protect the foundation and also the walls of his house.
Vitale is applying for a Kiva loan to help strengthen the foundation of his house and protect it from dampness.
