Phương

Mrs. Phương is 63 years old and is currently raising her two school-aged grandchildren on her own so that their parents can work far from home to earn additional income. She is a member of an ethnic minority group in Vietnam. Her household is classified as low-income in the local area. 

She has more than 20 years of experience in farming. In addition to agricultural work, she also works as a hired weed remover to earn extra income. Her main difficulty is that the products she produces are often sold at low prices. She is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to supplement capital for acacia cultivation. She plans to use the loan to purchase additional acacia seedlings and fertilizers. Previous loans have helped improve her family’s living conditions.

In the future, she hopes her family will remain healthy and happy, her livelihood will improve, and she can purchase more tools and equipment to support her production activities.
