A loan of $1,925 helps to buy additional goods such as instant noodles, vermicelli, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and soft drinks.

Dung's story
Ms. Dung is 33 years old and currently lives with her family in Đông Tiến Ward. She has two dependent children: her eldest daughter, born in 2018, who is now in grade 2, and her son, born in 2021, who is attending kindergarten.
She has more than 10 years of experience running a small grocery business. Her household is classified as low-income in the local area. In order to have more time to take care of and pick up her children, she applied for her third loan from Thanh Hóa Microfinance. She plans to use this loan to expand her small retail business by purchasing additional goods such as instant noodles, vermicelli, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and soft drinks. Previous loans have helped improve her family’s living conditions.
Her main difficulty is that her house is located far from the town center. In the future, she hopes her family will remain healthy and happy, her business will grow stronger, and she can earn enough to support her children’s education and build a new house.
