Samina
A loan of $550 helps to buy cloth, thread, and tailoring material.

Samina's story
Samina, a 44-year-old mother of two, supports her family through a home-based stitching business. Previously, limited financial resources made it difficult for her to purchase quality fabrics and essential tools, which slowed the growth of her business.
With the support of a CEIP microfinance loan, Samina invested in better materials and upgraded her equipment. This enabled her to take on more orders and deliver higher-quality work to her customers. As her income continues to grow, she is managing household expenses more effectively and providing better educational opportunities for her children.
Samina’s story reflects how access to microfinance empowers women, strengthens family livelihoods, and promotes long-term financial stability.
