Miatta

Miatta's story

Miatta, a 42-year-old businesswoman, has built a successful business selling rice, vita, tomatoes, and other food items over the past twelve years. She is married, learned her trade from her mother, and has managed her business smoothly without any major issues. She sells her food six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, using either a car or a kehkeh to transport her supplies to her business site.

Recently, Miatta applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner, to help expand her inventory and meet the growing demand from her loyal customers. The loan will allow her to purchase more rice, vita, tomatoes, and other food items to sell and offer a wider selection to her clientele. Miatta's dream is to grow her business even further, providing a better future for her family. She is deeply grateful for the financial support from funders, which will play a key role in turning her dreams into reality.
