Grodo
A loan of $575 helps to buy banana suckers for planting, and mulch.

Grodo's story
Grodo is a farmer aged 38 years, and he comes from western Uganda. He is a widower with two children, who are all in school. Grodo is engaged in crop farming, especially banana growing and seasonal crops, as major income-generating activities.
He is a repeat borrower with EBO SACCO who is facing the challenge of low banana yields, and this has geared him up to apply for a loan to expand and improve his banana plantation through buying banana suckers for planting, and mulch for the existing plantation. This will increase the banana supply and sales at the same time, for increased profits earned.
