Kusi Cuna Group's story

The 'Kusi Cuna' community bank has a board of directors. The group president, Grover, makes and sells confectionery from his own home. He makes bread, cookies and empanadas. His speciality is cheese empanadas. He has been in this business for 13 years. His family consists of his mother and himself. He is single. He supports his family which is a great responsibility for him. He is requesting this loan to buy flour and butter wholesale, mainly for making empanadas. Grover is a very hard-working young man who has a desire to improve himself. He would like to own his own cake shop and make a variety of cookies and cakes. He is grateful to the institution for the support they have provided which has provided him with an opportunity to get ahead in life.
