Lucinda

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 56-year-old Lucinda from Waterloo Branch. She is a married businesswoman with 5 children between the ages of 6 and 16, all of whom are currently attending school. She runs a retail business and sells uniform clothing items to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 20 years and says that her challenge is slow sales of her product sometimes. She started this business to take care of her family.

Lucinda requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more uniform clothing to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a larger scale.
