Fatu

Fatu is a 42-year-old, successful businesswoman with a passion for selling clothes, soap, and sugar. She has 3 children. She never had the opportunity to attend school. She learned about the art of sales herself and has been running her business for 13 years. With no major challenges, Fatu operates her business efficiently using a car or kehkeh to transport supplies and selling Monday through Saturday to a loyal customer base.

To further grow her business, she has applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The funds will allow her to purchase more clothes, soap, and sugar to sell to meet the increasing demand from her customers. Her ultimate dream is to improve her business.
