Rashi-B Group's story
Rukhsana is a 42 year old married woman from North Dinajpur district, West Bengal. She runs a small grocery store in her locality, where she sells essential items such as sugar, rice, pulses, salt, oil, spices, and tea. She lives in a household of four members and earns a monthly income of 25,000 INR.
To meet growing customer demand and increase her sales, Rukhsana plans to purchase larger quantities of essential grocery items and expand her business. However, she requires additional capital to do so. Therefore, Rukhsana, along with her friend, has applied for a group loan of 120,000 INR from Grameen Shakti, a lending partner of Milaap.
