Dastanzhon

The 31-year-old Dastanzhon is a kind and truly unique person. Devoting his life to his family, to his work, and to the preservation of Kyrgyz traditions, he crafts Kyrgyz saddles and forges souvenir swords, bows, and daggers. Into each of these projects he puts his soul and his love for his native culture

Horses occupy a special place in Dastanzhon's life. He cares for them with great attention and warmth. Together with his wife, a history teacher, he is raising his three children in an atmosphere that promotes respect for work and for family values.  In addition to his work as an artisan, Dastanzhon raises livestock to provide for his near and dear.

At this time, he is building a family home. But he has run out of funds after reaching the important stage of installing the plastic doors and windows that will help keep the warmth in and make the home truly cozy.

Dastanzhon is hopeful in applying for support. Any help will constitute a contribution to a warm and happy future for his family. From the bottom of his heart, he thanks everyone who responds and wishes you prosperity and good things.
