Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is a fifty-year-old single mother of three children. She lives in Honiara and runs a small general store in her local community.

Elizabeth joined Kiva's field partner SPBD to obtain financial services she could not access through traditional banks. With her loan she will buy boxes of matches, popcorn and Pall Mall cigarettes to expand her inventory. By increasing the variety of products available in her store, she aims to attract more customers and boost her sales, helping her provide a better life for her children and secure a stable future.
