Mujeres Amigas Unidas Group's story
The communal bank Mujeres Amigas Unidas are part of the Mujeres Emprendedoras programme developed by Fundacion Paraguaya.
It is made up by the merging of friends and neighbours who are seeking to improve their quality of live and that of their families through a concerted effort, cooperation and access to financial opportunities. Currently, they are on their third cycle, showing commitment and perseverance.
One of the members is Mercedes who, together with her husband, makes a living selling strawberries. Thanks to her effort and determination, she has managed to keep her business running and looks to continue growing in the sector.
