Nadia's story

Nadia is a determined 46-year-old mother of one who runs a small home-based clothing business to support her family. She purchases garments from the local market and sells them within her neighborhood.

In the early stages, her business was limited due to insufficient capital, which restricted her ability to maintain adequate stock and offer variety to her customers. With the support of a microfinance loan from CEIP, Nadia was able to expand her inventory by purchasing a wider range of clothing items. This allowed her to better meet customer demand, attract more buyers, and increase her sales.

As her income improved, so did her family’s living conditions. Today, Nadia confidently contributes to household expenses and supports her child’s education. Her journey demonstrates how access to microfinance can empower women to become financially independent, strengthen their families, and create sustainable change in their communities.
