Shamim's story
Shamim is a dedicated 47-year-old woman who has always aspired to support her family by running a home-based business. Due to limited income, managing daily household expenses and fulfilling her children’s needs was often a challenge. She has been operating a ready-made ladies’ clothing business for the past eight years.
With the assistance of a microfinance loan from CEIP, Shamim will be able to purchase a greater variety of ready-made clothes, helping her to attract more customers from her area and earn a consistent income. This support will enable her to contribute to household expenses and feel more assured and confident in her role within the family.
Looking to the future, Shamim aims to expand her small setup into a more established clothing business. She believes that CEIP’s support has not only improved her present circumstances, but has also opened pathways to a secure and brighter future for her children.
