Dorcas is a 49-year-old dairy farmer. She is a single mother of a seventeen-year-old daughter. She has been into mixed crop farming for the past year with a monthly income of 5,000 KES (~$56) which she uses for her family's needs.
She is applying for her fourth loan with KADET after repaying the previous loans successfully. Dorcas will use the loan to buy a dairy cow and practice dairy farming. With the anticipated profit she will support her child’s needs and venture more into dairy farming.
Her hope is to be a milk supplier in her home town and improve the living standards of her family.
