Productores De La Bujona Abajo Group's story
Erick is thirty-two years old. He is in a relationship, and is a very sociable, responsible, and hardworking person.
In his community, he is known for having worked many years in agricultural work, growing staple grains. He learned this work from a very young age alongside his siblings and father, who gradually taught them these tasks and shared his work experience. Erick has worked in farming for over seventeen years, and also works as a day laborer to cover his family’s expenses.
He is currently seeking a loan from Fundenuse, with Kiva funds, to purchase glyphosate, Gramoxone, fertilizer boosters, compost, cypermethrin, etc. Thanks to this support, he will be able to maintain his crops, improve productivity, and take another step toward his goals.
Erick dreams that through his hard work, he will one day be able to acquire his own farmland, which would allow him to reduce expenses and increase his income, improving his quality of life. With deep gratitude, he recognizes that this loan not only provides resources but also the confidence to continue working.
Erick is part of the Productores De La Bujona Abajo solidarity group. The other members are Denis and Glenda. They all share the same passion for agricultural work and the desire to keep moving forward in these new farming cycles.
